Happy day, everyone! It’s Melissa here, and I’m excited to share a new January Project Life layout with you today!
I cannot tell you how much I loved- LOVED!- the Citrus Twist Project Life kit this month. From the 6×6 pad from the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic line to the Pebbles journaling card pad stuffed FULL of goodness, there was so much to choose from when making my layout!
Let’s take a closer look at the left and right hand sides, and then I’ll get down to a few details that might help you when scrapping your own PL pages.
Aside from the journaling cards in the Pebbles pad and in the Echo Park cut-apart sheet, you can also see the two of the exclusive Citrus Twist cards (“This Week” and the numbered notebook paper next to my ice cream photo) in the mix.
Since I’ve started using my printer to do a lot of my Project Life journaling, I find that I have more space for decorative elements (or more photos) such as this Pebbles journaling card that I used as a title of sorts. This week in my Project Life album documents a lot of the process of us tearing out our old kitchen floor in preparation for installing a new one, and we were definitely glad that would never have to happen again!
The two photos below show how I used the 6×6 pad in the Project Life kit to embellish my layout. The top one looks like I painstakingly pieced together several bits of paper in a patchwork configuration, but really all I had to do was cut that pattern out of one of the pre-printed sheets in the pad! The bottom photo shows how I used a few embellishments from one of the cut apart sheets in the pad (love how there are sized-down versions of these papers from the larger collection in there) to dress up a 4×6 photo.
Oh, and did you think I’d forgotten the Project Life sketches this week? Not to worry- I have four to share with you today to help fill those little pockets.
We at Citrus Twist hope that you find these sketches useful, and we’d love to see your Project Life pages in the gallery!

Fantastic layouts Melissa and I love love your layout design ideas! That is one of my hardest things to get around – how to and what pictures to use for the layout design.
