Playing with Project Life

Trina–I’m back!–with Playing with Project Life and a few sketches to keep you going on your PL this week. I’m away from home right now and was missing my sewing machine so grabbed some of my dad’s thick twine that he used to sew vinal seat covers for his boat.

Here are the tools I have with me: glue, Tiny Attacher stampler, string and needle,  plus the January Project Life and Embellie kits.

It was a fun touch.

One of the fun things about working with this sketch is its simplicity. You can use a photo or trim a quote–I used one of the Pebbles journaling cards (trimmed) that came in our January Project Life kit:

This sketch is simple and uses a tag from our January embellie kit:

Here’s your final sketch for today. This one is for a 3 x 4 journaling card with a photo. I hand-sewed the string for the banner then glued down cut-out triangles. The strip running vertically on the left was taken from the top edge of one of Dear Lizzie’s 5th & Frolic 6 x 6 papers:
