Hi it’s Sandy with a layout based on Kaisa’s sketch designed for a single 51/4″ x 4″ photo.
I made two changes to the sketch - flip it horizontally and substituting the flag tail with journalling.
This layout is created to resemble a gift wrapped present. There is a color progression from the outer green tones, to a range of pinks and finally electric blue elements framing the photo. As an accent color, I added two mocha push-pins from my stash.
Product-wise I want to show some 12×12 layout ideas for the papers from January’s Project Life Kit. To frame my photo I like the scaled down patterns of 6×6 pads like these Dear Lizzy two blush-colored papers. My title is pieced together from a Pebbles Phrase Card and the word “Love” from an Echo Park Journal Card. Finally you can make your own embellishments like I did with these poka dot leaves from the b-side of a Pebbles Phrase Card.
In this embellishment cluster you can see some fun textures you can find in the January kits. The sapphire embroidery floss and fushia/pink striped ribbon is from the Main Kit while the vintagey metal button is from the Embellie Kit. The only thing I added from my stash is the pearl topped push pin.
